At least one mainstream medium in Australia is publishing a documentary about the undeniable ill effects of using Monsanto’s primary product, Roundup, in farming. This documentary is based, among others, in the published IARC report in 2015 declaring glyphosate as carcinogenic, and the Australian Cancer Council’s take on Monsanto’s Roundup. A jury trial in California has resulted in a guilty verdict against the agrichemical and GMO giant, Monsanto, now Bayer/Monsanto. The judge has ordered Monsanto to pay damages of USD 289 Million to former school groundskeeper Dewayne Johnson, who has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. On Tuesday, German Agriculture Minister Julia Kloeckner announced that legislation is being drafted to end the use of glyphosate in the country’s home gardens, parks and sports facilities.

This is a very good precedent. We can follow this idea for all doctors who want to prescribe us with toxic medicines.
A controversial former environmentalist who claimed on French TV that Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller was safe to drink was offered some in a glass by a journalist during the interview – and refused to drink it.
The United Nations has concluded through the findings of IARC that Monsanto’s pesticides probably cause cancer. Well, we already knew that and the attenuator “probably” should be omitted already.
Monsanto is just one of those devious tentacles of the Corporation, that has a complete grip on the institutions that are supposed to regulate it.
Individually we can only do so much to cause a dent on its political clout in DC and elsewhere. But collectively we might be able to shut it down.
